Animal skeletons, taxidermy specimens and creatures preserved in fluid lend the museum, which dates from 1828, the air of the house of an avid Victorian collector. The collection includes remains of many rare and extinct animals, such as the skeleton of a quagga (an extinct zebra) and a dodo.

Just for everyone's info The zoology museum is closed for redevelopment works until March 2011. Pretty good to know BEFORE you decide to go there. :)
