A small, charming zoo run by a family who also run wildlife parks in Derbyshire and an otter and owl sanctuary in the New Forest. Living alongside the usual rabbits, goats, sheep and chickens are more exotic (some endangered) species such as meerkats, lemurs, Asian short-clawed otters, a Vietnamese pot-bellied pig, monkeys, emus, tortoises and talking mynah birds. In the meerkats' enclosure children can make their way down a tunnel to pop out on a level with the creatures. The zoo also has indoor and outdoor play areas, picnic tables, a coffee shop and nappy-changing facilities. Birthday parties can be booked.

Could not agee more with the previous postings-smacks of being taken advantage of. The extortionate entry would have been easier to stomach if there were a few more animals worth seeing. Shambolic and disappointing-a wasted opportunity.
Used to be a lovely small informal zoo including farm animals for petting. Has bcome very commercial and overpriced which is a shame as I have taken my children there on numerous occasions and now I am a grandmother would have liked to continue, but I would not go back there again.
over priced, the kids just want to play in the playground & an odinary free park would have done.
