Time Out says

The way in which the development of Modernism was shaped by the Cold War is the focus of the V&A's major exhibition, which brings together fashion, furniture, film and architecture from both sides of the Iron Curtain to reveal that the climate of anxiety and tension was also one that inspired great technological breakthroughs. Key exhibits include Sputnik and Apollo mission space suits, furniture such as Eero Aarnio's Globe Chair inspired by the space race, futuristic architecture by Superstudio and Archigram, and fashion by Paco Rabanne and Pierre Cardin. There's also art by Picasso, Richard Hamilton, Gerhard Richter and others, as well as propaganda from the era from both East and West.
