This exhibition looks at British Arctic exploration in the nineteenth century and some of the famous explorers who attempted to cross the North-West Passage, including Sir William Parry and Roald Amundsen. On display are artefacts and stories relating to explorations, including the 'fool's gold' brought back by Martin Frobisher. The displays also include an examination of the North-West Passage today, in light of climate change and changing sea-ice levels.
