    Clockwork moon creatures made by Marx in the 1960s

  • Starting with the emergence of astronomy c.2,000 BC and soaring up to the future plans of NASA, this exhibition uses 300 objects to tell the story of humanity's fascination with space. Exhibits to explore include a model for the first planned tourist spacecraft, a Russian cosmonaut suit, a meteorite that visitors will be able to touch, a Pierre Cardin children's garment, a Mathmos lava lamp and all the 'Star Wars', 'Thunderbirds' and 'Doctor Who' merchandise a fan could want.
