The V&A's alternative village fête is held in the John Madejski garden and features stalls run by contemporary artists and designers, a tombola with designer prizes you might actually want, live music and tongue-in-cheek games such as 'Pimp my Plimpsoll'. Had the opportunity of assisting this event last night. Simply brilliant. Each stall offered creative and unusual games. I saw myself singing karaoke whilst inhaling helium, flapping my arms up and down to free a toy hen and won a stamping race against my friend Mark. It´s a shame we arrived too late to get a 'personalised criminal record', though ...
