An extensive programme of events is planned to celebrate the museum's fifth anniversary, and there's free entry all weekend. Highlights include costumed actors discussing the history of the area, talks on the founding of the museum (July 26 2pm, 4pm), the recreation of an East End music hall with magic and music (July 27 2.45pm) and the chance to dress up in a Victorian entertainer's gear (July 27 12noon, 1.30pm, 3.30pm).
