News from the German capital: the Berlin branch of Madame Tussauds is to display a life-size model wax work of one of German history’s most famous and reviled countrymen – Adolf Hitler.
Feature continues
The model is to be situated 200 yards from the city’s Holocaust memorial sparking understandable outrage among Holocaust survivors and Jewish groups. "It's like a Nazi Disneyland," said Uwe Neumärker, the Executive Director of the Holocaust Memorial Association.
While London isn’t without its own skewed morality – ultimately, the Museum of Docklands’ new Jack the Ripper exhibition is a celebration of a violent serial killer – we can be fortunate that our own history throws up few figures that could rival Hitler’s vileness.
But it did get me thinking, who would be the most wildly inappropriate British character to go on display at Marylebone’s Madame Tussauds?

Amy Winehouse, and funnily enough, she is soon
While I agree with the previous comment about the mass murders that happened everywhere, making a celebrity figure out of Hitler (and this is what it is about) just doesn't make sense and is disrespectful for the memory of the people who fought and died in WW2.
hitler profoundly changed the world history and yes a lot of people have innocent human blood on their hands ,
the bombing of german cities killed millions of innocent civilians as did the nuking of japan,
if hitler represents the underbelly of fascists then churchill and roosevelt represent the equivalent mass killers from the imperial western powers .
remember that is how history will remember them despite all the contemporary whitewashing by the current western media
also the first kurdish massacre was staged by mr.churchill claiming they were uncivilized tribes with mustard gas
