RIP Bardens Boudoir. Long live The Nest! The beloved red-and-orange chipboard den of affable iniquity has – after some serious interior overhauling – been replaced. Opened in October 2010, The Nest now boasts an industrial chic look and (mercifully) more salubrious toilets, but its music programme remains the same. 'We will strive to showcase the very best in new, fresh, cutting-edge talent,' the organisers claim. 'We are not interested in promoting acts that have 'made it'; we want to promote acts that will make it.' They seem to be holding hard to their stated intent.

best club in dalston by far! went there last weekend, the music was sick and the club was packed. amazing line-ups. also, this is one of those dark'n'dirty clubs we all love

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasteful, cutting edge night out in East London. It ticks every box - great sound, dark basement, amazing lights and the lineups pretty much couldnt get any better in my eyes. Banging mix of house, bass, disco and indie. Saturday nights are a bit more studenty and packed but Fridays have better artists, both nights completely worth checking out.

Definitely my favourite club in Dalston, probably the whole of East London. Have been down for their Saturday night party Lemonade and it never disappoints. Lineups always sick, have discovered so many great new DJs through the Nest. Sound system is massive, entry cheap, fully recommended!

I have been coming to The Nest for a while now - and it's by far my guilty pleasure! Having seen some TOP line up's, I have also been able to discover some new music and follow some new talent. Gasaffelstein completely blew my mind last Friday - he really tore the club apart - and the atmosphere was electric. I had never really heard of him - and now I can't wait to next see him play. Big thanks to The Nest for arriving on the scene - My Friday nights are now more entertaining.

Beast of a soundsystem, went down for FWD on a thursday that was there as a special and previously on a Friday a few weeks before. Cheap entry, top lineups and a great crowd. Think its owned by the guy that runs fabric from what I've heard. Get there but check the events first as there are different nights on.
