Set way up high in the mindblowingly beautiful Rhodope Mountain range in Bulgaria, this intimate event has rapidly become a gleaming, fun-filled gem of a boutique festival over the past few years. Funk, dub, alternative indie, jazz and acoustic bands play live in the daytime, while underground house, disco and techno DJs supply the sounds after the sun goes down and all through the night. Just as important as the music, however, is the friendly atmosphere and the truly stunning setting: watching the sun rise from atop a cloud-covered mountain with a pulsing dance soundtrack in the background is a blissful experience for many-a party-loving punter. There's also a post-festival pool party (for which you'll need a separate ticket) at a nearby plush hotel for those wanting to carry on the fun when the main event is over.
