As foreign city-based festivals go, this Spanish effort is up there with the best. Not only is it bang on the coast in Barcelona, meaning the views are superb and the weather usually flawless, but it's also well-run and sporting another impressive line-up. As ever, the roster will be hugely appealing to fans of alternative indie bands, with acts like Ariel Pink, Thurston Moore's crew, Belle & Sebastian, Spiritualized and Hookworms just some of the great names on offer.
