Started in 2007, The Masked Ball is a biannual event hidden away in rural Conrwall in the grounds of a huge, coastal guest house. The crowd are a boutiquey bunch and as cool as you like, and the DJ-centric line-up leans towards disco, house and funk, with sets by London's own beatmaster general Andrew Weatherall and the dependably brilliant Horse Meat Disco as definite highlights.
