Smack bang in the middle of the West End on Shaftesbury Avenue, Bar Rumba is one of the capital’s best-loved basement venues. As its slogan of 'if you can't sing it, we won't play it' suggests, commercial pop, dance, rock and R&B are the order of the day tunes-wise. Regular weekly nights like the student-friendly W.A.Y, Traffic Light Party, and School's Out also give central Londoners a chance to dress-up and dance.

Despite a headache of a day at work i was dragged on a night out. Happy i did as had a great night loving the party atmosphere. And after a few drinks the headache had miraculously disappeared. Will definitely be back!
I was here last week and it was incredible! My friend had pre booked one of the Birthday Packages, I would highly recommend it!
We had a great Friday there last weekend. We got there early and stocked up on some cheap happy hour drinks that the bar staff recommended and the night just got better from there. Not the biggest club in London, but the atmosphere was fantastic, no pretension, everyone was just there to have a great time. Will defo be going back soon. Thanks bar rumba for an awesome night
It was my birthday last weekend and we went to Bar Rumba to celebrate. Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the staff their for making a massive effort for my group. Had a great night and I shall be back soon. Would recommend for any night out!
Would 100% recommend. I had a fantastic night, met brill people and it was just a great place to chill out. Drinks were fun and staff very friendly. if you go out in london you need to go here! ;)
A great place to go and just chill out. When I went last friday, I was there for the comedy and ended up staying for the club night which happens straight after, brilliant set up they have. If you like cocktails, dancing and the general party night, then Rumba is a yes from me!
Amazing night! Such good value, friendly staff and such a good atmosphere! I would recommend Bar Rumba to anyone looking for a great night out in London!
Wow The comedy show this place hosts was amazing The layout the performers. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Stay for some partying and drinks too. What an electric bunch of people, I'm early 30s and honestly admit enjoying myself here. Will be doing it again :)
AMAZING night, Attended both the comedy and the nightclub! It was imense. The music was great i danced the night away!! The staff were so polite and friendly!! and cute too :P ! I recommend and will be returning again soon!!
I hate going out... I really enjoyed Bar Rumba, my friends have badgered me into telling everybody in the office how much of a good time i had, so i decided to let everybody know by writing a review. I remember, John falling by the stairs - hilarious kathy got way too drunk and shes the director (and a friend also) Tommy did the most annoying caraoke style rendition of a michael jackson song i moaned until chatting with a gorgeous bartender abdul pulled jane is going to get in trouble with her husband for kissing the toilet guy (seriously joking) but she did spend a long time chatting and the others really made my first night out in ages quite memorable. Thanks guys. We should do it again!! Bar Rumba next weekend - 1st rounds on me :)
