The first gig announced for this year’s free Apple Music Festival – the new name for the old iTunes Festival – is a headline show by the world’s biggest boy band. 1D may have lost Zayn Malik but they’ve still got a tight grip on the hearts of millions of teenage girls. Keep an eye out for long-suffering dads supervising the crowd at the Roundhouse tonight – perhaps support act (and fellow ‘X Factor’ alumnae) Little Mix will come as a relief.
