Birmingham Contemporary Music Group under Jonathan Berman presents an evening of modern song. Alongside ‘Crossing the Bar’, a world premiere ditty from Gerald Barry, are 18 pieces by other eminent modern composers including Thomas Adès, Harrison Birtwistle, Milton Babbitt, Jonathan Harvey, Olga Neuwirth and Aldo Clementi. The singers are sopranos Gillian Keith and Rebecca von Lipinski.
