The founder of NYC art-rock faves Dirty Projectors will no longer be performing at Meltdown festival. Which is a shame because his recent work – composing classical works (including one named after basketball superstar Michael Jordan) and rearranging Bartók for string quartet – has reaffirmed his credentials as one of the indie world’s sharpest cookies.
