Lively, lyrical and plain lovely website Caught By The River – equally dedicated to nature and culture, and featuring writers such as singer-songwriter (and gardener) Tracey Thorn – celebrates its fifth birthday with this rampantly wide-ranging show. Sam Genders as Diagrams fills the live music quota with his alluringly experimental chamber pop, while support is from a host of writers: Tim Burgess reads from his autobiography 'Telling Stories', Roy Wilkinson from his 'Do it for Your Mum', a biog of British Sea Power and Robert Macfarlane from his forthcoming book 'The Old Ways'. The latter features a live, bespoke soundtrack by acclaimed nature sound recordist, Chris Watson.
