Engines Orchestra

Led by the talented Phil Meadows, up-and-coming large ensemble Engines Orchestra are full of raw talent and electrifying energy and well worth seeing. Here they perform with saxophonist Meadows’s own group, comprising trumpeter Laura Jurd, pianist Elliot Galvin, bassist Flo Moore and drummer Simon Roth. Conducted by Matt Roberts, the two ensembles play Meadows’s brilliant ‘Lifecycle’ Suite.
