Time Out says

'Collapsing new buildings' is the name of this legendary Berlin noise act, and they've got the music to go with it. Their early albums, made in a hollow concrete flyover, used construction and demolition equipment and metalwork to create thrillingly abrasive sheets of twisted sound. In the 30 years since, Neubauten have not so much mellowed as learned that restraint and subtlety can be just as devastating as drilling through the floor – as they famously did at the ICA in 1984.

Their gigs nowadays are decidedly less intense, with perennial leader (and former Bad Seed) Blixa Bargeld crooning and whispering over minimal industrial backing, but here's still enough pipework on stage to please the faithful. Tonight the group present their new album 'Lament', inspired by and sampling interviews with POWs in World War I, at their first London show in several years.
