Aussie songwriter Barker's band's excellent breakthrough album 'Despite the Snow' combined slide, fiddle, honeyed vocals and lonely piano on countrified tales of love and redemption, and furnished the theme tune to Kenneth Branagh's 'Wallander', not to mention their outstanding performing at the Olympic opening ceremony. Tonight is the second of three consecutive shows Barker and co will be playing around London. On Mar 6 they pitch up at St Pancras Old Church and on Mar 8 they end at Hoxton Hall.
