Gifted twenty-four-year-old Irish drummer Lyttle – who's collaborated with Soweto Kinch and Jean Toussaint – received tutelage from US modern drumming greats Jeff 'Tain' Watts and Ari Hoenig. He's here with an extraordinary quartet of fellow countryman/guitar phenomenon Mark McKnight and prominent NYC bassist Nievergelt (who's worked with Herbie Hancok and Greg Osby among others) to play hard-hitting modern jazz.
