VOICES ACROSS THE WORLD: Etran Finatawa

First night of the ROH's annual celebration of world voices showcases this North African blues and acoustic precussion troupe made up of the citizens from two nomadic tribes, the Woodaabe and Tuareg. They blend gord drums, handclaps and choral polyphony in songs about isolation and liberation.
