A packed day of top-notch London-based jazz bands at this excellent free festival headlined by the voraciously virtuosic altoist Atzmon and his hard-hitting electo-acoustic band, mixing hard bop with edgy world themes and blistering solos. Other highlights include gospel-influenced jazz diva Dalrymple, alto sax-led super-fly funksters Porkchop (with Kasabian's Ian Matthew's on drums), vocal-led jazz from Parks and the Polar Bear-ish TT.
