Performances and backstage interviews from the gig
Polymath jazz pianist/flamenco guitarist/tabla player/soundtrack writer/orchestral composer/comedian Sawhney is back on form with his recent album, a homage to our fair capital, 'London Undersound', on which he has collaborated with Imogen Heap and Sir Paul McCartney among others. Here he creates electronic, pan-global beat-scapes that take in dubstep and drum 'n' bass with vocalist/flautist Ashwin Srinivasan, singer Tina Grace and tabla player Aref Durvesh.
