Our fave post-jazz band have come a long way since their South Bank busking days, via storming international tours and a Mercury nomination. Undoubtedly playing from their third (self-titled) LP, the follow up to the excellent 'Isla'. It sees PQ moving wholly into electronica/ alt.rock-edged territory, with new keys man Keir Vine on board. Add live drum looping, twanging electric bass and more of those spine-tingling sax melodies, and we're already loving the sound of PQ version 3.0.
