Traditional and rootsy Irish singer Dillon (formerly a member of folk-pop group Equation) possesses a terrific voice, clear as a mountain stream, and her 2010 LP - a set of covers of traditional songs called 'The Hill of Thieves' - was voted album of the year at the BBC Folk awards. More recent work has seen her re-embrace the likes of Planxty and The Bothy Band, who both originally inspired her. She will likely appear with guitar and/or piano accompaniment from her husband, Sam Lakeman (bro of Seth).
