Hugely hyped neo-soul quartet from Athens, Allabama - who were last year's most-buzzy band at the CMJ Festival and are signed to Rough Trade - play three nights in Tufnell Park, the first as part of the NME's 2012 talent showcase. Their EP of December last year showcased their old-timey and grittily smoked, '60s soul-blues/Memphis R&B authenticity, with respectful nods to Otis Redding and James Brown, plus an apparent appreciation of The Black Keys and The White Stripes. Last of three nights.
