Special tribute concert celebrating the works of modern jazz colossus Joe Zawinul (who passed away in August) with wistful, award-winning Brit jazz maverick keyboardist/composer Django Bates leading the BBC Big Band through works from both Weather Report and Zawinul Syndicate. Joined by funky, fleet-fingered ex-Weather Report bassist Bailey, Brazilian percussionist Bosco d'Oliveira and brilliant UK drummer Martin France this will be an epic send off for one of jazz's true giants.
