Former Soft Boys mainman Hitchcock has long endeared himself to a large, largely underground obsessive fanbase, who love him for his sharp humour and impeccable, avowedly English, psych-pop pastoralism. Here, he performs from his 1984 release, 'I Often Dream of Trains', with help from sweet-voiced, erstwhile Belle And Sebastian chanteuse Campbell and experimental sax supremo Edwards, who's played with Gallon Drunk, Tindersticks and Jimi Tenor, among many others. For Rasputina (see Mon).
