In support of brand new album 'Pilgrim Road', Boston's sombre and croonsome exponents of alt.country noir, revolving around rotund songwriter Robert Fisher, play (for one tour only) with an expanded 11-piece line-up including brass and strings and Scottish composer Malcolm Lindsay, with whom Fisher initiated the collaboration. Support comes from the wonderful Gelb who, whether with his band Giant Sands or playing solo, is a master of desert-ravaged blues and spaghetti (country and) western sounds.
