Producer and cellist Chris Bangs and his Shadow Orchestra deliver a mix of laptop-driven electronica, post rock, jazz, folk and classical instrumentation, including cello, harp, violin and glockenspiel. Bangs' influences are varied – from Aphex, Four Tet and DJ Shadow, to Ali Farka-Toure and Toumani Diabate, Van Morrison, Charles Mingus and The Penguin Cafe Orchestra. In support, CR proffer down-tempo, song-based electronica and folktronica tinkerings from Exeter's TSOB.
