Born to hippy parents on a commune in Kingston, Ontario, Sproule claims dual citizenship with both Canada and the US. Her excellent latest album 'Keep Your Silver Shined', was produced by Jeff Romano in the heart of Virginia's Blue Ridge mountains and highlights her talent for combining Appalachian, folk and jazz influences. Once again supported by bleak, pared-down Irish singer-songwriter Crowley, this promises to be an evening of quality alt.folk.
