Originally conceived as the West Country's answer to the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, Stackridge released an eponymous debut in 1971 and, two years later, the George Martin produced 'The Man In The Bowler Hat'. In recent years, the band have become a festival staple at such folk events as Cropredy.
