  • Sprawling Toronto collective (up to 19 members, at one point!) sometimes known as the 'indie Wu Tang Clan' and who have featured Feist and members of Stars, Do Make Say Think, the Weakerthans and Metric play from their chaotic yet achingly lovely, self-titled album, which mixes up Dinosaur Jr- and Pavement-inspired slacker pop, slinky funk and atmospheric indie rock and no doubt test drive tunes from their eagerly anticipated follow-up, 'Something For All Of Us' due out in July/August. In support, NZ's Sub Pop-signed, boy-girl duo – highly successful in their homeland –who claim to draw inspiration from Jonathan Richman, Feist, Gram Parsons and Prince and play from their agreeably sweet but mercifully non-saccharine release, 'Structure & Cosmetics'.
