The BBC hosts a spectacular three-part folk all-dayer. Starting with a free bring-a-picnic mini-folk festival in Kensington Gardens from 12noon, there will be performances from almost a dozen acts including Bellowhead, The London Lasses and Pete Quinn, The Trad Gathering and the Camden Set Dancers. The afternoon continues with another free concert at the Royal Albert Hall from 3.30pm; a programme of folk and folk-inspired pieces from the likes of The London Sinfonietta and Romanian/Hungarian band Muzsikás. The evening concert at 7.30pm is the only paid-for event, with artists such as Martin Simpson and Bella Hardy exploring the way folk and traditional music has influenced classical composers; followed by the Royal Albert Hall's first ever céilí, free for all 7.30pm ticketholders.

I am up for new experiences, otter catching, you name it, if I haven't done it and it sounds interesting, Ill join you.
