  • John Martyn and Ennio Morricone live

  • By Time Out editors

  • 'Don't Look Back', the London festival where artists play their best albums, in their entirety, enters its second year. After The Stooges and Patti Smith last year, the first 2006 dates announced were a little underwhelming (Girls Against Boys? Isis? Nightmares on Wax?) but two cracking shows have just been announced. Ennio Morricone plays two nights of film soundtracks at the Hammersmith Apollo (July 19, 20, tickets £50-£35), while hard-living folk-jazzer John Martyn plays his 1973 masterpiece, 'Solid Air' at the Barbican (September 11, £23.50).
