The year's defining live music moments

5 ‘Wouldn’t You Miss Me?’
Barbican, May 10
Star-packed
Syd Barrett memorial show curated by Joe Boyd and featuring the likes
of Damon Albarn, Robyn Hitchcock and – yes! – Pink Floyd covering their
favourite Barrett tunes. Although it was The Aliens’ Gordon Anderson,
with the Sense Of Sound Choir, who stole the show.
