Members of homeless charity Crisis recreate Nima Nourizadeh’s acclaimed 2006 video for Hot Chip’s ‘Over And Over’ in honour of the Time Out-sponsored Crisis Hidden Gigs series, complete with homemade sets and giant red specs
Hot Chip guitarist Al Doyle led the music workshop and the sprightly rendition of the first single from Mercury Music Prize-nominated second album ‘The Warning’, ahead of the band’s opening concert for the Time Out-sponsored Crisis Hidden Gigs series on Tuesday May 5. ‘They were all well into it,’ he says. ‘It was very over-subscribed. We had 16 year olds, a woman in her mid-sixties… It was surreal but fun.’
