The rap night with a sense of fun returns! This time DJs Lexicon and Goldbars are saying to hell with Valentine's Day and celebrating the Roman saint whenever they want – in this case Feb 22. The duo will be working their usual music policy of 'If there's a rap on it, they'll play it' while you bust your best moves in home-made masks of the ultimate hip hop couple: Jay-Z and Beyoncé. Expect a soundtrack of everything from Mos Def to Betty Boo; think party hip hop, G-funk, early '90s rave, R&B, garage, grime and loads of pop featuring MC cameos. There will also be a chance to win free drinks in the 'Mr Boombastic' rap-off (sign up on the night or email fortheloveofmic@gmail.com in adv), a roaming hip hop photographer with props and Twitter requests from 2am (send to: @fortheloveofmic).
