Jeff Tweedy always puts on a good show, but this show was particularly soulful and somber as he played with his son, Spencer (on the drums). He was fading towards the end, but his acoustic set playing the great songs (Hummingbird, I'm the Man Who Loves You, A Shot in the Arm, One Wing, I Am Trying to Break Your Heart, Born Alone, Jesus etc.) was bone-chillingly full of solitude. The dude knows what he's doing.

Master tunesmith and Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy brings his Grammy-winning alt country to London. He's gearing up to release his first solo album 'Sukierae', although technically the 'Tweedy' on the bill tonight is a duo: Jeff will be accompanied on drums by his teenage son Spencer, as he plays a mixture of heartbreaking and soulwarming tunes in this grand old venue.
