Matthew Bourne

Exceptionally imaginative Leeds pianist and vintage synth collector, Bourne is as prolific as he is wildly unpredictable, ranging across high-velocity improv in duos and trios, and the likes of his 2009 project, 'Songs from a Lost Piano', in which he reclaimed broken-down joannas whose missing hammers and wonky keys gave each a unique character.
