The acclaimed composer and pianist celebrates his 70th birthday at the Festival Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Josep Vicent. The programme includes 'Where the Bee Dances', Nyman's first concerto; a recent violin concerto never before performed in the UK; and the world premiere of Nyman's Symphony No 2, the latest in an intended series of 19.
