There are designated days for gherkins and tap dancing, so why not jazz? International Jazz Day is an initiative started by UNESCO and Herbie Hancock, and to celebrate it in London you could head down to this concert organised by the Buddhist organisation SGI-UK (the British wing of an international movement which counts Hancock among its members). The Human Revolution Orchestra, founded in 2013, performs with guest trombone by master bandleader Robin Eubanks. Profits go to UNICEF.
