Krautrock veteran and hippy philosopher Hans-Joachim Roedelius has enjoyed something of a fashionable resurgence in recent years as the elastic rhythmic landscape of the likes of Ulrich Schnauss has brought his methods back into public acceptability. This string-laden ambient piano odyssey is his first new work in four years and, while it lacks the pioneering edge of his early works, it’s sure to give Brian Eno a semi.
