Exploring Duran Duran’s curious post-punk influences, with 18 tracks that Rhodes and Taylor will have played out while DJ-ing at Birmingham’s Rum Runner nightclub circa 1979, including early synth pop (Human League, Numan, Kraftwerk, Ultravox, John Foxx, Yellow Magic Orchestra), the artier end of punk (Wire, Magazine) and the weirder end of glam (Eno, Ferry, Mick Ronson). No Japan, oddly, but these comps never want to give too much away, innit?
