A proper CD remaster for this seminal 1981 album, which sees avant pop eggheads Brian Eno and David Bryne splicing together some fantastic drum tracks over the disembodied voices of Muslim imams, US TV evangelists and right-wing talk show hosts. What was once seen as a dry ethnological experiment now stands up as an utterly experiment now stands up as an utterly futuristic-and scarily prophetic-piece of dance music, complete with pounding tribal beats, funky hip hop loops and weird African percussion.
