If there were any lingering doubt that Muse are the best band in Britain, this throbbingly funky, brilliantly sleazy, falsetto-drenched stormer crushes it with Matt Bellamy’s newly acquired disco-rock glitterball. It’s not often that big acts’ comeback singles come close to matching weighty expectations. This one leaves them for dust.
