  • From his tiny studio behind Perivale’s Hoover Building, Rishi has spent the last decade twiddling knobs for the likes of Britney, Ricky Martin, Craig David and Mis-Teeq along with protégés like Jay Sean and Juggy D. His second ‘solo’ LP is a virtual compilation, where guest singers and MCs spit over Rishi’s wobbly R&B beats. Like his admiree Timbaland, Rishi never lets the occasional Indian trademarks – tabla, dhol drum, flute – overwhelm the flow. Most interesting is the ‘Desi grime’ suggested by tracks like ‘Let’s Start Talking’.
