The rest of this album sounded a bit like Hot Chip without the gags, but this track – named after the Oxfordshire woods where weapons expert David Kelly committed suicide – is rather ace, with Thom ‘Giggles’ Yorke playing a fearsomely funky bassline while bleakly wailing about a man who was kicked around like a political football between Andrew Gilligan and Alastair Campbell. Sadly, we’ll now never see Fearne Cotton introducing Thom’s musical response to the Hutton Report on ‘Top Of The Pops’…
