The production of this song probably cost more than your house, but maybe they could have spent a bit more on the songwriting. It’s not bad – the crunksome beat and deceptively minimal arrangement will probably be huge in Atlanta – but it’s missing some energy. Most interestingly, though, this is the anthem for the hot new ghetto pastime of ‘snap dancing’: basically an update of vogueing with finger clicks substituted for magazine poses.
